On Oct. 19, Aurora Public Schools Board of Education members and district administrators didn’t rely on power point presentations or data gleaned from surveys to find out how students in the district feel. Instead, they spoke to 15 middle and high school students face-to-face as part of the board’s series of community engagement efforts during the 2010-11 school year.
