Three Aurora Public Schools art teachers were recognized recently for their creative savvy and teaching skills.

East Middle School art instructor Jenn Knowles was elected Vice President of the Colorado Art Education Association.
Columbia Middle School’s Aaryn Novy earned the Colorado Art Education Association's award for Middle School Art Teacher of the Year.
Linda Schmale, Gateway High School art teacher, received the Colorado Art Education Association's award for High School Art Teacher of the Year.
