Daughters of the American Revolution Honor Rangeview Teacher

Rangeview High School teacher Amanda Westenberg, left, earned the Outstanding Teacher of the Year award from the Toll Gate Creek Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
The Toll Gate Creek Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution recently recognized Rangeview High School social studies teacher Amanda Westenberg with the Outstanding Teacher of the Year award.
The DAR, headquartered in Washington, D.C., is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history and securing America's future through better education for children. The DAR has 3,000 chapters in all 50 states and internationally.
Westenberg is now eligible for the Daughters of the American Revolution state award.
