Written by Loretta Erickson

North Middle School Health Sciences & Technology Campus recently introduced about 15 eighth graders to a day in the life of a state legislator.

These students did an exceptional job of writing high quality policy letters to a state legislator, and they earned the privilege to shadow Rep. Angela Williams during the Colorado Association of Gifted and Talented Legislative Day at the state Capitol. Students attended committees and learned a great deal about the political process.
