Thank You, APS Staff Members!
APS Teammates:
I am amazed by how quickly the 2011-12 school year has gone by. The culmination of this and each school year is the awarding of diplomas and certificates to our graduating seniors. This week more than 2,600 students earned their diplomas and/or certificates, and together they earned more than $7 million in scholarships. Twenty nine students graduated with a diploma in one hand and an associate’s degree in the other!
Graduation is a reminder of the work that we do to ensure that our students are successful....from our schools to our buses, it is a organization-wide collaboration.
Although this year has had its rewards and challenges, you have remained focused on doing what is best for students. I value the work that you do and I can truly say that I am proud to be a part of the APS family.
As we prepare for summer break, I’d like to take a moment to simply say, thank you. I hope you all have an opportunity to enjoy some much needed time off with your loved ones. Have a safe and restful summer.
