Pickens Students Earn Microsoft Industry Certifications

Forty-two Pickens Technical College students recently earned Microsoft Office industry certifications, raising the bar from certifications achieved in 2011.
The students, members of the Business and Medical Office programs, boast the record for the number of students to complete the certifications at Pickens. Led by instructors Kelly Powers and Jacki Sloan and taught through Certiport, students became proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint. In many cases, some students earned more than one certification.
