Partnerships are a key point of emphasis for Aurora Public Schools. In fact, Superintendent John L. Barry is proud to say that APS needs community support to help students succeed. In the spirit of teamwork, all hands were on deck recently at Laredo Elementary School for the sixth annual Children’s Hospital Colorado landscaping project. More than 60 volunteers met at Laredo to give the school a landscape makeover, a new fence and new playground equipment.
