A digital badge represents a “soft skill” that is not evident on a report card. Badges are showcased on each student’s online profile, which colleges and employers may access to verify students’ credentials.
Aurora Hills is the only APS school to have issued nearly 200 digital badges. We commend Aurora Hills staff for their dedication to supporting goals one and two of the APS 2020: Shaping the Future Strategic Plan, which focus on ensuring each student has a set of skills to implement his or her plan and credentials that open doors.
