Paris Elementary School kindergartners recently attended a special One Book for Colorado (OB4CO) event at Children’s Hospital. They were invited by Donna Lynne, the Lieutenant Governor of Colorado, who personally welcomed the students and talked about the importance of reading books with their families.

This year, Mouse Mess, was the OB4CO winning book. Author Linnea Riley read her book to Paris Elementary students. Afterward, students asked questions about being an author and illustrator. Each student also received a free copy of the book, in English or Spanish, to keep and take home to read with their families.

We appreciate our community partners who provide vital resources and opportunities for students and staff.
