Murphy Creek P-8 Earns Alliance Project Grant

Congratulations to Murphy Creek P-8 for earning the Alliance Project grant…again! Murphy Creek is one of only twelve public schools in the metro area to be selected.

The grant, funded by the Scientific and Cultural Collaborative, awards thousands of dollars to chosen schools to support engaging learning opportunities for students throughout the 2017-18 school year. It also funds buses, subs, in-services, library support, admission costs, workshop leaders and other supplies to schools at the specific requests of teachers.

The Alliance Project, now in its 20th year, provides educational outreach partnering the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District’s science and cultural organizations with teachers to build curriculum that enhances students’ abilities to shape successful futures.

This grant supports Aurora Public Schools’ belief that all students must have equitable access to learning opportunities, technology and environments that support them in reaching their full potential. We thank our generous partners for their continued support.

Go, Jets!
