Kaiser Permanente Staff Spruce up Hinkley

In Aurora Public Schools, we believe that community partnerships provide vital resources to students and their families. Volunteers from one of our district partners, Kaiser Permanente, provided Hinkley High School with some extra cleaning manpower over winter break. The volunteers worked with APS custodial staff to conduct a deep clean of the building before students returned from break.

APS custodial staff provided a brief tutorial on best cleaning practices for common student touch points in the building such as locker handles, desks and door knobs. Volunteers and staff then worked together on the cleaning project.

We are grateful to Kaiser Permanente staff for volunteering and to APS custodial staff across the district who work hard every day to clean our schools and ensure a healthy learning environment.
