APS Board of Education Executive Session

The Aurora Public Schools Board of Education is expected to recess into executive session on Tuesday, June 7 under the authority of C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(b) and (e), to receive legal advice regarding the budget and negotiations.

This session will take place from 5-6 p.m. in Conference Room A of Educational Services Center 4, located at 1085 Peoria Street, Aurora 80011.

The Aurora Public Schools Board of Education meetings are generally held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 6 p.m.

The meetings are held at the Dr. Ed Lord and Patricia Lord Board Room, Educational Services Center - 4, 1085 Peoria St. These meetings are open to the public.

In 2009-10, the board meetings will follow one of these formats: board workshop, board work session, general board meeting or executive session. Board agendas identify the meeting format.

Rangeview High School will be hosting an APS Functional Drill on June 8th from 7:30-2:30pm. This drill will include the cooperation of the Aurora Police Department, APS Security and Aurora Fire Department.

APS Board of Education Executive Session

The Aurora Public Schools Board of Education is expected to recess into executive session on Thursday, June 16 under the authority of C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(f)(I), to discuss procedures regarding the superintendent’s evaluation.

This session will take place from 5-7 p.m. in Conference Room A of Educational Services Center 4, located at 1085 Peoria Street, Aurora 80011.

APS Online High School is offering an informational meeting for all prospective parents and students. If you have a student interested in exploring an alternative path to a high school diploma then you are cordially invited to attend one of these sessions.

APS Online high school is a quality program run and maintained by APS staff and offered through Aurora Public Schools. We are staffed by highly qualified and expert instructors. Laptops and high-speed internet connections can be provided to qualified students. Online, group and individual instruction is provided in all curriculum areas both over the internet and in one of our campus classrooms. APS Online is a free public high school.

• Thursday, July 7 at 5:00PM at our Rangeview HS Campus
