Registration for the 2012-13 school year begins April 4 for grades K-12 and continues until June 1, 2012.

This year, Aurora Public Schools is again sponsoring the Summer Food Service Program. The program runs until June 28. Participating schools will provide breakfast and lunch at no charge to children 18 and under!

Adults can also purchase meals:

• Breakfast $1.60
• Lunch $3.35

Remember, all children 18 and under eat free!

PTC ENGINEERING SUMMER CAMP IS BACK!

APS Board of Education Executive Session

On Tuesday, June 5, the Aurora Public Schools Board of Education is expected to recess into executive session, under the authority of C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(f)(I), to discuss personnel matters.

This session will take place from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m. in the Professional Learning and Conference Center’s “VIP Conference Room,” located at 15771 E. 1st Avenue, Aurora, 80011.

The Aurora Public Schools Board of Education meetings are generally held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 6 p.m.

The meetings are held at the Dr. Ed Lord and Patricia Lord Board Room, Educational Services Center - 4, 1085 Peoria St. (Unless otherwise noted below). These meetings are open to the public.

The board meetings follow one of these formats: board workshop, board work session, general board meeting or executive session. Board agendas identify the meeting format.

The APS Board of Education is holding an open budget workshop to give parents, staff and community members an opportunity to ask questions and provide input on the 2012-13 adoptive budget.
