Aurora Public Schools is holding a news briefing on Thursday, Aug. 2 to discuss plans for the first day of school in light of the recent shooting in our city. The briefing will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Educational Service Center 1 located at 15701 E 1st Avenue, Suite 206, Aurora, 80011.
Parent Meeting on Aug. 2
Aurora Public Schools is working with nationally renowned experts from the National Center for School Crisis and Bereavement to provide parents and staff advice on how to support children who may have challenges coping with this tragedy.
We are hosting a meeting with these experts at Rangeview High School at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2 to provide resources for families about how to talk to their children about this tragedy. Rangeview is located at 17599 E Iliff Ave.

Books and materials being considered for adoption by Aurora Public Schools Board of Education will be available for public inspection Monday, August 6, 2012 through Friday, August 17, 2012 at the Division of Instruction, Educational Services Center Building 2, 15751 East First Avenue, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Materials are being considered for adoption in the following area:
