Events for 2012 September

The Aurora Public Schools Board of Education meetings are generally held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 6 p.m.

The meetings are held at the Dr. Ed Lord and Patricia Lord Board Room, Educational Services Center - 4, 1085 Peoria St. These meetings are open to the public.

In 2012-13, the board meetings will follow one of these formats: board workshop, board work session, general board meeting or executive session. Board agendas identify the meeting format.

Citizens Bond Oversight Committee

Meetings: Quarterly, First Wednesday of the month. Dinner will be provided.

Time: 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Aurora Public Schools is hosting a community meeting related to the theater tragedy in collaboration with Aurora Mental Health Center and Children’s Hospital Colorado. The goal of the meeting is to follow up with our families and staff about our disaster recovery efforts and to learn about any additional needs they may have. 

We invite you to join us at the upcoming meeting which will be held on:

• Monday, Sept. 24 at 6:00 p.m.

The meetings will be held at the APS Professional Learning and Conference Center, located at 15771 E. 1st Ave., Aurora, CO 80011.

APS Board of Education Executive Session

On Tuesday, September 18, the Aurora Public Schools Board of Education is expected to recess into executive session, under the authority of C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(e), to develop strategy for negotiations.

This session will take place from 5:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in “Conference Room A” of Educational Services Center 4, located at 1085 Peoria Street, Aurora, CO 80011.
