Aurora Central High School is proud to host our annual salute to veterans.  The Veteran’s Day flag raising ceremony and reception will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 and it will begin at 7:00 a.m. in front of the school. 

Aurora Central High School is located at the corner of 11^th Avenue and Newark Street, just 2 blocks west of ESC4. 

All veterans, whether from the school district or the community, are invited.

APS Board of Education Executive Session

On Tuesday, November 13, the Aurora Public Schools Board of Education is expected to recess into executive session, under the authority of C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(f)(I), to discuss a personnel matter.

This session will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Conference Room A of Educational Services Center 4, located at 1085 Peoria Street, Aurora, CO 80011.

The Aurora Public Schools Board of Education meetings are generally held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 6 p.m.

The meetings are held at the Dr. Ed Lord and Patricia Lord Board Room, Educational Services Center - 4, 1085 Peoria St. These meetings are open to the public.

In 2012-13, the board meetings will follow one of these formats: board workshop, board work session, general board meeting or executive session. Board agendas identify the meeting format.

Superintendent's Quarterly Awards Ceremonies for 2012-2013 will take place at 5 p.m. at the APS Professional Learning & Conference Center, 15771 E. 1st Ave.

Please join staff and students on Friday November 30^th at 3:15p.m. in the back of the school for a release of balloons to Celebrate the life of Debbie Gallegos a second grade teacher for 6 years at Iowa Elementary who lost her life to Breast Cancer.
