Vaughn Elementary Celebrates Arbor Day
The students at Vaughn Elementary School celebrated Arbor Day 2012 with a special tree planting ceremony! Fifth grader Poleth Valdez submitted the winning Colorado Arbor Day poster to the COMPASS after-school program, sponsored by the City of Aurora.

APS Students Participate in All-State Elementary Choir Program
More than 1200 people recently attended the inaugural All-State Elementary Choir Program. Elementary choirs from around the state participated in the event, including student choirs and instructors from Jewell, Dalton and Vaughn elementary schools and Aurora Quest K-8 School.
