Aurora Public Schools Board of Education to Make Decision on Paris Elementary Proposal

At its March 16 meeting, the Aurora Public Schools Board of Education will make a decision about the proposal to remodel Paris Elementary School, located at 1635 Paris Street.

Paris is a small elementary school built in 1956 that serves K-5 students. The school can currently house only 170 students without temporary classrooms. Due to overcrowding, many classes are now held in mobile classrooms. This proposal would ease overcrowding in the area with a school remodel that would increase enrollment capacity to approximately 450 students.

The board meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. in the boardroom of the APS Administration Building, 1085 Peoria Street. The public is welcome to attend.
