Aurora Public Schools to Hold Public Forums for Superintendent Search

Aurora Public Schools is holding public forums to provide parents, students, staff, and community members the opportunity to give feedback on the qualities they would like to see in a new superintendent.  Feedback from the meetings will be used to guide the school board's selection of the district's next superintendent. In addition, APS is holding more than 40 targeted focus groups with students, parents and community members.

The forums will be held:

  • April 5:
    • 12 – 1 p.m. in Conference Room C of the Administration Building, 1085 Peoria St.
    • 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Mrachek Middle School Commons
    • 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Aurora Central High School Commons
  • April 6:
    • 7:30 – 9 a.m. in Conference Room C of the Administration Building, 1085 Peoria St.
    • 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Gateway High School Commons
    • 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at East Middle School Auditorium

All forums will be conducted in English and Spanish.

For those who are unable to attend, copies of the survey are available in English and Spanish at each APS school and at the district administration building at 1085 Peoria St.
