APS Celebrates Students' Success

The Aurora Public School District will celebrate the success of our students in career and technical education.  Pickens Tech building trades students have built a house, and the public is invited to view the new building as part of their "open house" event. Please join us for this event on Tuesday, May 23 from 2-7 p.m. at 19035 E. 22nd Place (approx. Colfax and Tower Road).

T. H. Pickens Technical Center is an area vocational school offering technical training programs to adults and high school students. Pickens Tech offers nearly 50 certificate programs ranging from Cosmetology to Welding. Their goal is to provide students with the opportunity to acquire the state-of-the-art skills, knowledge and work habits that will help them succeed in the workforce.
