Aurora parents and community members who have a question about their child’s school or district are invited to ask that question and they can receive an answer straight from the superintendent and school board members.
In a series of scheduled town halls, held by the Aurora Public School Board of Education and Superintendent John L. Barry, the public is invited to join in on a community conversation focused on APS.
Audience members are asked to share what’s on their mind. Participants can fill out question forms to ask Superintendent Barry and APS board members questions about schools, programs and VISTA 2010, the new APS strategic plan.
By asking parents, students, staff and community members to bring their ideas and concerns to the table, APS hopes the forum will “Pick up the PACE” within the district and allow every graduating student an opportunity to go to college.
