No More Excuses

Figuring out how to pay for a college education can be overwhelming for some students and their families, but now Hinkley High School students can leave their worries behind.

Beginning this fall, graduating Hinkley students who are admitted to Colorado State University will qualify for a base award of $2,000 per academic year and may receive an increased award, up to the amount of Colorado resident tuition and fees, based on the student's documented financial need.

There are no more excuses for Hinkley students NOT to go to college.

CSU chose Hinkley as one of ten high schools in the state to participate in the new Alliance Scholarship program.

Qualifying students must be admitted to CSU and will be required to take at least 12 credit hours per semester and maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Several members of Hinkley’s Class of 2007 have already accepted the Alliance  award.

To learn more about the Alliance Scholarship program contact the CSU admissions office, 970-491-6909.
