To help kickoff and raise funds for the school's first-ever homecoming weekend, members of student council and the Business Pathway organized 'Mr. Vista,' a fun and interactive showcase of 13 male Vista PEAK students. The idea was to take an event that many staff members have been a part of at other schools and start a tradition at Vista PEAK, teacher Michael Dougherty said.
Each student showed off their dancing and trivia skills along with some creativity and cleverness in a rose ceremony. When all was said and done, Velasquez earned the crown.
