APS Honors Inaugural ‘Recognizing Excellence’ Winners

Aurora Public Schools has a new employee recognition program, and eight staff members recently earned bragging rights as members of the inaugural class.

The Recognizing Excellence program honors APS staff members who demonstrate outstanding dedication and commitment to accelerating student achievement. Nominations range across all employee groups and levels, including those at non-school sites.

APS recognized the winners at a recent Board of Education meeting, where officials read the nomination forms aloud. Fellow staff members and community members were on hand to congratulate the honorees.
