Hinkley’s IB Diploma Programme Shines

The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) recently conducted a study to determine national trends of student participation and success in the IB Diploma Programme, a challenging two-year curriculum aimed at students during their final two years of high school.

Out of 830 schools nationwide that offer the program, Hinkley High School was one of only five schools selected for the study.

Hinkley students and staff participated in focus groups and IBO concluded that the school is noteworthy for its ability to increase access to the IB Diploma Programme for students of color and/or low socioeconomic backgrounds.

APS applauds Hinkley for maintaining high enrollment in the rigorous courses.
