Aurora Public Schools students will continue to have some of the best technology at their fingertips, thanks to the generosity of the Aurora Rotary Club.
The local organization donated more than 100 Kindle Fires to various elementary schools for third-grade students to use and presented the tablets to APS Superintendent Rico Munn at a recent rotary club luncheon. Longtime supporters of APS, Aurora Rotary members hope the donation will help get the newest literature in students' hands and spark their love of reading. Members will fan out to the schools over the next few weeks to make official presentations to the students.
APS is grateful to the Aurora Rotary Club for its partnership and exemplifying the APS 2020 core belief that all students must have equitable access to learning opportunities, technology and environments that support them in reaching their full potential.
