Aurora Central High School student Kalil Miles will soon graduate from APS, and his post-high school plans just got a bit more solidified thanks to the news of his full-ride athletic scholarship to the University of Colorado Boulder.
Miles recently earned the Chick Evans Scholarship for caddies, which will pay for his tuition and housing costs in full at CU. He will live in the Evans Scholarship House on the Boulder campus. Having already earned admission to the university's College of Engineering and Applied Science, his higher education journey is sure to start on the right note because of his ability to plan for his future and earn important credentials to open doors.
Miles embodies the definition of student-athlete and credits much of his success on the greens to the many hours he spent as a caddie through the Solich Caddy and Leadership Academy. He has also represented Aurora Central well in a variety of settings, including his participation in Boys Hope Girls Hope, youth leadership conferences and the Black and Veatch Engineering Explorers program.
APS congratulates Miles on his incredible accomplishment! Good luck at CU!
