Aurora Quest K-8 student Josephine Stockton is one of only 28 national award recipients of the Caroline D. Bradley Scholarship! This honor grants gifted learners the opportunity to attend an optimally matched four-year high school program of their choosing.
Stockton earned the scholarship through a rigorous process that involved more than 386 applicants nationwide. To be considered, students must achieve scores at or above the 97th percentile on the SAT Reasoning or ACT tests and provide compelling essays, middle school transcripts, recommendations and a work sample.
“I practiced an hour or two every day since Jan. 1 and until April 11, which was when I took the SAT and scored a 1200,” said Stockton. “I received encouragement and support from my parents and teachers throughout the entire application process.”
