Boston’s Kindergarten Class Overjoyed by Bike Donation

Wish for Wheels, a nonprofit organization based out of Denver, partnered with real estate company Cushman & Wakefield for the sixth consecutive year to deliver disassembled bikes to Boston P-8.

Upon their arrival, the school’s eighth-grade students quickly went to work assembling the bikes to present to 47 kindergartners later that day. Parents watched as their children learned how to ride their brand new, light green bikes.

Wish for Wheels has graciously donated an estimated 20,000 bikes over the last decade, supporting schools in the Denver area. Their mission is to change a child’s life with the gift of a bike. The nonprofit believes that ownership of a bike gives children a greater sense of responsibility and freedom that fosters a healthy lifestyle.

Thank you Wish for Wheels and Cushman & Wakefield for continuing to provide Aurora Public Schools students with this wonderful opportunity. Community partnerships play a vital role in our students’ lives.
