On Tuesday, April 17, the Board held its monthly Workshop meeting. The meeting was fairly lengthy as the Board is working to address the major planning issues for next year. Key issues for the meeting included:
- The Board approved a two year extension of my contract to serve as Superintendent. Prior to the vote, Board members shared reflections on the past five years and expressed hopes for the next two. I am honored to serve this community and I look forward to the work ahead.
- The Board heard the formal proposal to transition APS Online and Rebound into the new APS Avenues. A formal vote is expected at the next meeting.
- The Board heard its annual update on APS CARES, our health and safety framework. In a coming meeting the Leadership Team is expected to present a mill proposal related to supporting this framework.
As always, you may review Board minutes and presentations on our website.
