The First Annual APS STEM Challenge Day brought an array of young intellectual minds together to put their innovative thinking to the test. More than 150 students tackled four challenges in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math during an exciting day of collaboration and problem solving.
Students presented their results to guest judges Superintendent Rico Munn, directors from the APS Division of Equity in Learning, and APS Board of Education members Marques Ivey, Kyla Armstrong-Romero, Monica Colbert and Cathy Wildman.
This event fostered excitement and interest in STEM fields as well as developing 21st century skills valued in APS and the global community.
Thank you to our school sponsors and the Learning Resources team for putting on a STEMtastic day of discovery and learning for our students!
