North Middle School Named 2018 Colorado Healthy School Champion

North Middle School is one of only 47 Colorado schools named 2018 Healthy School Champion, winning $1,000 Bronze Award for their outstanding health efforts.

Presented by the Colorado Education Initiative and Colorado’s Healthy Schools Successful Students program, the award recognizes North for promoting healthy school environments and implementing health initiatives that support student learning.

“These schools and districts have successfully demonstrated the critical link between student health and academic achievement and we’re excited to present this year's 2018 Healthy School Champions award to North Middle School in Aurora Public Schools,” CEI Director of School Health Amy Dyett says.

Thank you North for providing safe and healthy learning environments to our students.
