Christmas came early for the Vista PEAK Preparatory Bison family. More than 100 Aurora Public Schools staff, students and community members recently gathered to celebrate the completion of the school’s bond-funded expansion and renovation project.
The project includes a cafeteria expansion, interior renovations and a brand new science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) wing. STEM students can now engage in more unique learning opportunities such as flying drones and producing 3-dimensional prints!
The grand opening ceremony featured a ribbon cutting, building tours and free food from Jim N’ Nick’s Bar-B-Q.
In November 2016, Aurora voters approved a $300 million bond measure to make improvements at every school in the district. We thank our community for their continued support in helping every student shape a successful future.
