CO Dept. of Higher Education: “Taking the next step: Talking college and careers with Rangeview seniors”

Story excerpt:

"As the definition of 'higher education' expands, so too do the options available to high school seniors. Today’s students can opt for a two-year or four-year college path or consider work-based learning opportunities, such as apprenticeships and on-the-job training.

Thanks to these options, more high school graduates have enrolled in postsecondary education than ever before in Colorado — 56 percent. But beneath this good news lurks one troubling trend: declining college-going rates among young men of color."
