‘Tis the season for giving, and with the holidays just around the corner, one large donation from a local nonprofit couldn’t have come at a better time for the students at Crawford Elementary and Boston P-8.
Over 1,000 food bags were filled with delicious goodies, including granola bars, apple jacks, top ramen, M&M’s, fruit snacks and much more. This effort was powered and organized by a nonprofit called Be About Bliss, which collects a significant amount of food from the community to support students and their families during winter break.
“Our hope is that the children at these schools will be able to be kids during the holiday break and not have to worry about where their next meal is going to come from,” says Founder Rachel Bliss.
Thank you, Be About Bliss, for making the holidays extra special for our students and families.
