Montview Students Sign their Names into History

Montview student Montview Elementary students became a part of their school’s history by signing a steel beam, which will be installed in the building’s new classroom addition. The beam will act as a time capsule in honor of students enrolled during construction.

Montview is receiving a whole building remodel, which will replace the school’s HVAC system and expand the building by adding more classrooms. The school will also receive interior remodeling throughout. Montview’s construction is expected to be completed in summer 2019.

The school’s project is made possible thanks to voter support of the 2016 bond measure. Bond funds will be used to make improvements at every school and benefit every student. To learn more about bond projects in APS, visit bond.aurorak12.org
