APS Comes Together to Support Students & Families

Over the last several weeks, Aurora Public Schools has rallied together to serve our community. From deep cleaning and disinfecting all of our buildings to distributing more than 15,000 technology devices for remote learning, APS is committed to supporting the needs of our students and families during this challenging time.

Our Nutrition Services team has also gone above and beyond by ensuring our students and families enjoy nutritious meals despite the disruption of normalcy due to COVID-19. While schools are closed, they are providing FREE meals every weekday, which include breakfast, lunch and dinner. These caring staff members have provided more than 130,000 grab-and-go meals at 16 locations in the sunshine, rain and snow.

We are deeply grateful to all of our staff for their incredible work over the past few weeks! In uncertain times like these, the strength and resiliency of our community truly shines the brightest.

Donate to the APS Foundation Food and Crisis Relief Fund

APS Nutrition Services has partnered with the APS Foundation to expand free services to our community by leveraging philanthropy throughout Aurora.

If you would like to help ensure the critical needs of our families are met during this unprecedented time, please offer a monetary donation to the APS Foundation Food and Crisis Relief Fund. Your contribution will be matched thanks to a generous donor who granted $50,000 in matching funds to supplement access to food services, health programs and remote learning options.
