Denver7: Aurora trying to expand college & career centers

The Aurora Public Schools Foundation is working to raise funding for a new College & Career Center which would serve students at Aurora West College Preparatory Academy and William Smith High School.

This would be the 6th College & Career Center in APS and would mean that 100% of APS high school students have access to a center.

The centers help students achieve success with their post-secondary plans. The centers have served more than 15,000 students and helped them obtain more than $120 million in scholarships since the first one opened in 2014-15.
