COVID-19 Vaccines for Children Ages 5 and Up, Updated Health Guidance

We are excited to share that the CDC has approved the Pfizer vaccine for emergency use authorization for children ages 5 to 11. Pfizer’s vaccine requires two doses that are administered 21 days apart. Vaccines must be proven to be safe and effective before they are administered. Children ages 5 to 11 can now start getting vaccinated along with children ages 12 and up.
