A Brief History of Crawford Elementary School
The Aurora Central Grade School was built in 1892 on the current site of Crawford Elementary. The building burned down in 1919.
A second school was built on the site.
This school was torn down in 1972 as the current building was erected.
The current Crawford Elementary School was remodeled in the 1980's.
