Story excerpt:

"Skateboarding is a great opportunity to learn. Just ask the students at Murphy Creek P-8.

Sixth graders at the school recently got the chance to study skateboards as well as build their own. APS teamed up with a Colorado non-profit known as Can'd Aid which encourages people to give back to their communities and Amazon which funded all the parts and gear and even provided helmets too.

It was a fun and unique way for the kids to learn all kinds of lessons like science and engineering to the benefits of healthy outdoor activities."
