Unified sports is a collaborative approach to creating opportunities for students with and without disabilities to participate in school sports activities such as Track and Field, Basketball, Soccer, and Bowling. All of our middle and high school students have the opportunity to participate in Unified Sports at their school; either during the regular school day or as an after school sport.

Aurora Public Schools and Special Olympics have partnered to bring Unified Programs to our Middle and High Schools, just like others across the country. Unified Programs bring students with disabilities and peer partners together to build relationships, teamwork and sportsmanship. We are guided and inspired by a simple principle: playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding.

Please contact your school directly for specific Unified Sports Information.
