One of the core beliefs in the APS strategic plan, APS 2026, is that community partnerships provide vital resources and opportunities for students and families. Our partnership with Colorado State University Global provides graduates and staff members the opportunity to pursue postsecondary education and certificate programs at significantly discounted rates. CSU Global is a completely online, regionally accredited university designed for working adults and recent high school graduates and offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees, as well as certificate and continuing education opportunities.

APS graduates may pursue undergraduate degrees with an exclusive tuition rate of $265 per credit hour. This rate is 24% off the standard rate of $350 per credit hour!

Current APS employees who are aspiring teachers may pursue earning their teaching certification without putting life on hold.
They will receive a tuition rate of $335 per credit hour, which is 33% off the standard rate of $500 per credit hour!

APS teachers interested in leadership positions may enroll in the CSU Global Principal Licensure program at the reduced rate of $335 per credit hour.
This tuition is 33% off the standard rate of $500 per credit hour!

Thanks to the successful passage of APS’ 2016 bond measure,
APS and CSU Global continue to work toward a long-term partnership. An
agreement helped to fund construction of a new building for CSU Global’ s
main offices. In turn, APS receives in-kind lease payments including
free and more affordable postsecondary options for APS students, recent
graduates and staff.

APS and CSU Global Offer Golden Eagle Scholarship
Aurora Public Schools and Colorado State University Global have partnered to provide the APS Golden Eagle Scholarship! This is a four-year opportunity exclusively for APS students who want to attend CSU Global, a 100% online university.
Every scholarship recipient will receive a minimum of $7,500 per year, and may receive more depending on the student’s unmet need after other financial aid. Based on need, most scholarship recipients will be able to attend college for free!
Students interested in learning more about the APS Golden Eagle Scholarship are encouraged to speak with their high school counselors or visit The Denver Foundation website.
As a reminder, even if a student does not receive this scholarship, all APS graduates and staff qualify for significantly discounted rates at CSU Global.
