APS Using Future Classroom Technology

The classroom of tomorrow is no longer a dream in Aurora Public Schools.

Experience a 21st Century Model Classroom in action at Paris Elementary School.  Paris Elementary is one of the first schools in the state of Colorado to utilize interactive whiteboard systems in every classroom.

On Nov. 9, APS teachers and students will demonstrate a new interactive whiteboard technology solution that motivates students to get involved in their daily classroom experiences and engages all participants like never before.
The presentation will show the remarkable difference the ACTIVclassroom interactive whiteboard system can make as we strive to achieve our goals for No Child Left Behind.  Watch how teachers and students use interactive whiteboards, student assessment and response systems and integrated curriculum delivery tools to engage, motivate and teach in a radically new way.
Mr. Jay Vean, APS Instructional Technology Coach, and students will answer questions and demonstrate creative content ideas using these new, high-tech collaborative classrooms. You’ll see how this technology is truly transforming education in APS and our world.
