What is an Owl?
The Meeting Owl is the original 360° smart video conferencing camera. It automatically highlights and shifts focus to different people in the room when they speak, so you know what's happening as if you're there. It combines mic, camera and speaker into one device and sits in the center of the table.
💥IMPORTANT!
If you purchased an owl on your own (for your dept), you will have to download the app and register the device with an email before you can use it! You should not have to do this with the owls checked out through Learning Resources. Please reach out to [email protected] if you have questions!
How do I use the Owl in a Google Meet?
Step by Step Directions

Plug in the cords to the Owl

Plug the in the power and usb to your computer

Join a google meet (For Hybrid meetings, make sure only one person joins the meet using the Owl)

Click on "Check your Audio and Video" before joining the meet

Make sure you have changed the Camera, Microphone and Speaker to the Owl.
