Colfax Community Network seeks to provide needed services. CCN works with families to recognize their value and offer tangible resources to encourage stability. This program provides housing, employment, outreach, after school programs, and summer camps

Aurora Warms the Night provides shelter and comprehensive services for Aurora's homeless. All services are provided free of charge to homeless clients including men, women, children, and families. Cold weather shelter provided via motel vouchers when temperatures drop to 20 degrees or below. Vouchers provide safety, an opportunity for showers, and prevent frostbite, illness and potential death from winter elements

Comitis Crisis Center offers a comprehensive program of services, from emergency housing, crisis intervention, short term treatment, aftercare, outreach, and education and prevention services to Aurora persons ranging from infants to senior citizens. Call (720)975-0155 for more information

County Human Services for TANF

Colorado Works is the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program in Colorado; it provides public assistance to families in need. Colorado Works is designed to assist customers in becoming self-sufficient by strengthening the economic and social stability of families. Colorado Works operates in all 64 counties, and is delivered locally through each county's department of human or social services.
