Parenting Support Programs

Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) has specially trained nurses regularly visit young, first-time moms-to-be, starting early in the pregnancy, and continuing through the child's second birthday.

Adams County Nurse Support Program provide nursing services, support, education, and care coordination to women who are pregnant and families with small children in Adams County.

Arapahoe County Nurse Liaisons provide nursing services, support, education, and care coordination to women who are pregnant and families with small children in Arapahoe County.

SafeCare Colorado is a free, voluntary, in-home program to assist families with children ages 0 to 5.

Motherwise provides workshops that focus on communicating, solving family problems, and proven information on caring for and connecting with a newborn. You'll also receive one-on-one coaching to navigate work, life, family, and your new baby.

Bright by Text is a voluntary and free program for Colorado families to support their children's physical, emotional, and intellectual development during the critical first three years of life

Parents as Teachers is an early childhood parent education and family support program available to families in Arapahoe County with children birth to kindergarten

"All babies cry, but some cry more than others." The Fussy Baby Network is a Colorado program that offers a range of support services for you to choose from and all families are welcome. Services are at no cost and no family will be turned away.

State and County Resources

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) provides nutrition education, breastfeeding support, healthy food, health referrals, and other services free of charge to Colorado families who qualify.

Colorado Teen Parent Driver's Education Grant Program provides financial assistance to teen parents for driver's education courses, driver's license permit/license fees, birth certificate fees, transportation to/from driver's education classes, child care expenses, and driver pre-test/testing fees.

Glass Hearts - Building Lives supports young dads ages 16-24 to achieve career success through physical, spiritual, social and educational development.

24/7 Dad is 12 sessions of free classes through the Center for African American Health to develop positive attitudes, knowledge, and skills for fatherhood.
