Bond-funded construction at Virginia Court Elementary will begin this fall and is expected to be completed in summer 2021.
Virginia Court will receive a whole building remodel and three building additions, which will include two new classrooms. The classroom additions will enhance the school's STEM and Art programs. Interior remodeling will create a new entrance at the front of the building that is both inviting and secure. Updates will be made to the student drop-off and parking lots, which will streamline traffic flow around the building.
In order to allow sufficient time for construction, Virginia Court will use a modified calendar for the 2020-21 school year. You may view the school's modified school calendar below.

APS is grateful to the citizens of Aurora who approved a $300 million bond measure in November 2016 making projects like this possible. APS bond funds are providing improvements at each school and benefitting every student.
