At Aurora Public Schools, diversity is our strength. Our students come from more than 130 countries and speak more than 160 languages. APS high school seniors and early-graduating juniors who are proficient in English and one or more languages by high school graduation can earn an official Seal of Biliteracy!
Students who earn the Seal of Biliteracy have a special seal embossed on their diplomas and wear a special cord at graduation. Additionally, a notation is marked on the students’ transcripts indicating that they received the seal. Earning the Seal of Biliteracy is a statement of accomplishment for college admissions and to future employers.
The application period is open now through Dec. 15, 2023. Please note that Aurora Public Schools covers the application fee.
