APS is Transforming College and Career Success Culture through Innovative Partnership with CSU-Global!

LogoAPS is committed to preparing students for college and career success by providing more postsecondary opportunities.

We are excited to engage in a new innovative partnership with Colorado State University-Global for students to pursue postsecondary education and certificate programs at Colorado State University-Global rates. APS graduates are eligible for an exclusive tuition rate of $265 per credit hour (over 24% off the standard rate of $350 per credit hour).* This discount can save families approximately $2040 a year on tuition (based on a typical course load). Students pursuing an undergraduate degree can save up to $8160!

Students who qualify for Federal Pell Grants can apply, on average, an additional $3,500 per year. This means an APS graduate's annual tuition at CSU-Global would be about $2,800. By comparison, the average undergraduate annual tuition at an accredited four-year university was more than four times that amount ($13,265) in the 2016-17 school year. Please make sure you complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to see if you qualify for financial aid.

*These rates may be subject to modest annual increases.

CSU-Global is a completely online, regionally accredited university designed for working adults and recent high school graduates and offers bachelor's and master's degrees, as well as certificate and continuing education opportunities.

Thanks to the successful passage of APS' 2016 bond measure, APS and CSU-Global continue to work toward a long-term partnership. An agreement will fund construction of a new building for CSU-Global's main offices. In turn, APS would receive in-kind lease payments including free and more affordable postsecondary options for APS students, recent graduates and staff.

Support for Student Success

Every student in APS creates a plan for his or her future. These plans may include pursuing a college degree, certificate program or career credentials. Our teachers, counselors and staff members support students as they develop and implement their plans. In addition, several of our high schools have College and Career Centers that provide invaluable resources for students seeking postsecondary opportunities. Staff members at these centers guide students as they fill out college, financial aid and scholarship applications.

APS also offers many opportunities for students to earn college credit for free while still in high school and even earn an associate's degree! These programs reduce the amount of time and expense families spend on a college education. Some of our innovative student options include:
